DG型多级离心泵具有效率高、性能范围广、运行安全平稳、噪音低、寿命长、安装维修方便等特点。供输送清水或物理化学性质类似于水的其它液体。也可以通过改变泵过流部件材质、密封形式和增加冷却系统用于输送热水、油类、腐蚀性或含磨粒的介质。

本型泵是单壳体节段式多级离心泵。其吸入口和吐出口均垂直向上。前段、中段和后段用穿杠联接成一体，各段之间静止结合面主要靠金属面密封外，并没有O型胶圈作为辅助密封。DG型高压泵的吸入段、中段、吐出段采用锻件。

DG multistage centrifugal pump is characterized by high efficiency, wide performance range, safe and stable operation, low noise, long service life, convenient installation and maintenance, etc. It is used to transport clear water or other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water. It can also be used to transport hot water, oil, corrosive or abrasive media by changing the material and sealing form of the flow passage parts of the pump and adding a cooling system.

This type of pump is a single shell segmental multi-stage centrifugal pump. The suction inlet and discharge outlet are vertically upward. The front section, the middle section and the rear section are connected as a whole by a threaded rod. The static joint surface between the sections is mainly sealed by the metal surface, and there is no O-ring as the auxiliary seal. Forgings are used for suction section, middle section and discharge section of DG type high-pressure pump.
